Erika Jayne Shares Cryptic Tweet in Wake of Divorce, Lawsuit Drama

Unbothered? Erika Jayne broke her silence after she and her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, were hit with fraud and embezzlement allegations in a new lawsuit.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 49, posted a photo via Twitter on Wednesday, December 2, of herself looking serious as she posed in a chic black dress. “High drama,” she captioned the post.

The cryptic message comes hours after the class action firm Edelson PC filed federal court documents against Jayne and Girardi, 81. The pair are accused of embezzling settlement funds that were supposed to help the families of the victims of Lion Air Flight 610, which crashed and killed all 189 people on board in 2018.

Ivanka Trump deposed by DC attorney general’s office in Trump inauguration funds lawsuit

Ivanka Trump, President Trump’s daughter and adviser, was deposed in a case involving alleged financial abuse of the president’s inaugural funds, according to court documents.

The D.C. attorney’s office revealed in a court filing that the younger Trump gave a deposition in the case on Tuesday. Her deposition is part of the D.C. attorney general’s lawsuit alleging the nonprofit presidential inaugural committee abused over $1 million in “improper payments” to the Trump hotel in Washington, D.C.

The attorney general’s office issued an investigative subpoena to the former friend of first lady Melania Trump, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who wrote a book documenting her declining relationship with the first lady, prior to its lawsuit after she voiced concerns the inaugural committee was overpaying the hotel.

Wolkoff asked Ivanka Trump and the inaugural committee’s deputy chairman Rick Gates to “please take into consideration that when this is audited it will become public knowledge

“Real Housewives” star Erika Jayne and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, are being sued in federal court for fraud and embezzlement by class action firm Edelson P.C.

The lawsuit, which was filed on Wednesday in the Northern District of Illinois by law firm Edelson PC, alleges Girardi and his law firm, Girardi Keese, embezzled millions of dollars that were intended to go to the surviving relatives of the Lion Air 610 plane crash. The Boeing 737 MAX crashed shortly after taking off from Jakarta on Oct. 29, 2018, killing all 189 passengers and crew members.

In early November, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne filed for divorce from superstar attorney Tom Girardi, a man whose cases have been featured in films like Erin Brokovich. The news seemed to come as a shock to fans, who believed Jayne’s tales of a picture perfect marriage onscreen.
